As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing both clinical and administrative support to our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Take and record patient vitals, medical history, and symptoms.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist during medical procedures.
- Assist with patient education and provide instructions regarding treatment plans.
- Schedule patient appointments, answer phones, and manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) software.
- Ensure the office and exam rooms are clean and organized.
- Handle insurance verifications and billing processes as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Gap year student
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA preferred).
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and excellent bedside manner.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain organized in a busy environment.
- Proficiency with basic medical office software and equipment.
- CPR/BLS certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
