Position Summary:
We are currently hiring Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist (National Certified Phlebotomy Technician) to work in our Bronx-based family medicine practice- St. Lawrence Community Health Center. Individuals must have a Medical Assistant Certificate/Training Program Completed AND a National Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification to qualify.
This position requires language skills that included Bilingual English/Bengali OR English/Spanish.
You will support our Bronx-based family health center where we provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.

Onsite in the Bronx, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

- Process blood draws, collects specimens and processes lab orders.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
- Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medical history and accurately records in medical records.
- Completes referrals and discharges patients.
- Assists providers and nurses during all aspects of exams.
- Assist provider with treatments
- Schedules for appointments, verify insurance and demographic information.

Minimum Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Training School and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
- Bilingual Spanish/English or English/Bengali required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Computer literacy.
