Job Overview

Duties

• Support medical administrative functions including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance documentation.
• Conduct basic laboratory tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures within the clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
• Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or urgent care setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with emergency medicine practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and administrative procedures related to healthcare operations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Must speak Spanish
