Position Summary
We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Architectural Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate is an architectural professional in pursuit of licensure who will contribute to the development of construction document solutions in Revit across a range of project types, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This role requires close collaboration with project teams, consultants, and clients to translate design concepts into comprehensive, well-coordinated construction drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of Construction Documents in Revit for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules under the guidance of a Project Architect or Project Manager.
- Support the translation of schematic and design development concepts into technically accurate drawing sets.
- Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, civil, and other consultants to ensure document consistency and completeness.
- Perform redline revisions and incorporate review comments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct code research and assist with zoning and building code compliance documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and document meeting notes as needed.
- Assist with construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and updating drawings.
- Maintain organized digital project files in accordance with office standards.
- Ensure adherence to firm drafting standards, quality control procedures, and Revit best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in a professional firm.
- Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction methods, and building codes.
- Excellent graphic presentation and visualization skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
