Licensed Veterinary Technician Position Overview

Responsibilities include:

• Drives a high-level focus on client experience and customer service 
• Ensures care is attentive and timely for all patients
• Assists the veterinarian in medical, surgical and dental procedures; prepares patients for surgery
• Administers and monitors anesthesia; manages patients during surgery and recovery
• Takes Tech Appointments (vaccines, fluids, demonstrations etc.)

• Prepares estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients supporting hospital financial policies

Successful candidates will have:

• Experience working as a veterinary technician (background in emergency/referral or specialty practices is a plus)
• Ability to maintain positive and cooperative relationships with team members
• Stress management skills in a busy, fast-paced team atmosphere
• Interest in pursuing individualized professional goals
• Washington State Veterinary Technician License

Compensation & Benefits

$25-39/Hour (depending on experience and job-leveling)

Company-paid monthly benefit varies depending on hours worked per week and health plan selected. There are partial benefits available to part‐time team members.
