Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server/bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pouring beer, and mixing cocktails, along with providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a server/bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Everyone on our team is responsible to take care of their own tables, clean/bring food to their table, and bus their own sections.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling safety standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. (Self lane Point of Sale)
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow between the bar and dining areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food service and alcohol handling.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Experience in fine dining or high-volume establishments is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
