What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Food Server - Menaul position at Los Cuates New Mexican Restaurant?
Los Cuates on Menaul is looking to hire an experienced Bartender. Applicants must be friendly, hardworking, team oriented, honest, comfortable with food and liquor service. You are expected to wait tables in bar area as well as prepare drinks for the restaurant. Tip out from drinks made for servers is provided.
Must be available to work consistently and have open availability, have a positive attitude at all times and be an excellent communicator. Must have reliable transportation. Must be drugfree. Passing a background check is a condition of hire.

Previous bartending and food service experience is a requirement, having an up to date Alcohol Serving certification is required as well. A food handlers card is required.
In addition to guest relations, you will be responsible for communicating with front and back-of-the-house team members to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. You will also maintain accountability for all aspects of the bar area including setting up and stocking product for each shift, maintaining storage areas, and cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining all equipment, utensils and tools, implementing inventory controls, and abiding by all liquor laws and regulations. You will be responsible for cash and credit card transactions and be held fully accountable for their accuracy.

Excellent Guest Relations Skills
High school diploma and additional training in bartending preferred
Minimum of one year food service experience
Minimum of two years bartending experience
Previous experience handling money and operating point of sales processing systems
Flexible and open schedule
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management skills
Professional dress, speech, behavior and personal presentation
