About the Role
The Upturn Marketing Systems is looking for an enthusiastic Entry Level Retail Sales Associate to join our Middleton team. In this role, you will be the face of our retail environment engaging customers, demonstrating products, and delivering the kind of service that keeps people coming back. No prior experience is required; we provide the training you need to build a strong foundation in sales and retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products that match their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits
- Process point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and payment processing
- Recommend additional products or services to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain organized, well-stocked product displays through merchandising and restocking
- Address customer questions and resolve concerns in a timely, professional manner
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members in person and by phone
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Preferred (not required):
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a sales environment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic cash handling
- Bilingual abilities (helpful for serving our diverse customer base)
- Experience with product merchandising, stocking, or store operations
