What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Base Manager position at Upstate University Hospital?
Job Summary:
The Data Base Manager will be responsible for building and programing databases using REDCap for research studies. Additional duties include but are not limited to: translate study protocols and data collection requirements into database forms/structures, develop data dictionaries and customizing databases to support statistical analyses with standard statistical packages including R and SAS, communicates proactively and respectfully with multisite research teams to align database workflows, address site specific concerns, and promote a shared culture of data quality and accountability. This position will require a high attention to detail and accuracy, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills along with ability to communicate with multiple users and manage multi-site data workflows.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Public Health or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one year of related work experiance.
Work Days:
M-F 9AM-5 PM
