Responsibilities
- Assist with steel cutting, grinding, and fabrication
- Operate hand and power tools and assist machine operators
- Load, unload, and move materials using equipment or by hand
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
- Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
- Previous experience in a steel shop or industrial setting preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Willing to learn and follow direction
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a loud, physical environment
- Competitive hourly pay ($17 per hour) based on experience
