Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our wood shop team. This is a role for someone who can work independently, maintain high-quality craftsmanship, and meet tight timelines.
The right candidate will be comfortable building and fabricating custom projects, problem-solving independently, and helping keep projects moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Build and fabricate wood-based projects in a shop environment
- Read drawings and execute projects accurately
- Operate woodworking tools and shop equipment safely
- Work independently while maintaining quality standards
- Manage priorities and meet tight production timelines
- Troubleshoot and adapt as project needs change
Qualifications
- Previous carpentry or wood shop experience required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience with shop tools, fabrication, and woodworking equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Custom fabrication experience
- Cabinetry, scenic, staging, or production carpentry experience
- Ability to interpret plans or shop drawings
