What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN II position at Upson Regional Medical Center?
The LPN under the guidance and supervision of the RN, shares responsibility for providing for the total patient needs. As a member of the nursing team, the LPN performs a variety of technical and skilled patient care duties, many of which were acquired through formal practical nursing education and supervised on-the-job training and experience. The LPN shares the responsibility of providing a safe and comfortable environment conducive to healing while delivering quality care. The patient population primarily served is aged 8 to geriatric.
Education Requirements:
â—Graduate from an accredited LPN program
License, Certifications, etc.
â—Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Georgia
â—BLS
â—Non-violent Crisis Training for specified units
â—PALS & ACLS for specified units
Experience:
Minimum
â—Graduate from an accredited LPN Program
Preferred
â— At least one year experience
