Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Days
Hours: M-Th 8a-5p Fri 8a-2p
Greets and assists all patients and/or customers who present in office. Put together daily patient charts. Obtains lab and referral information for physician review. Prepares patients for examination and assists physician during patient encounter. Answers patient questions and educates regarding minor office procedures. Maintains medical records information for patient visits, other referrals, insurance pre-certification information, and billing. May work varying hours, as needed, including holidays. May be required to travel to multiple office locations. Provides friendly, courteous, and confidential assistance to every patient.
EDUCATION:
-Required: High school diploma or GED
-Desired: Medical Assistant Certification desired
EXPERIENCE:
-Required: Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program or one year office practice experience performing related duties.
-Desired: Two or more years experience in a medical office or hospital environment.
