Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Architecture

Are you a senior cybersecurity leader who wants to own enterprise security architecture, influence long-term strategy, and lead high-impact engineering initiatives across a global environment? We’re partnering with a global industrial technology organization to identify a Senior Manager who will lead cybersecurity architecture and engineering across cloud, on-prem, and operational technology environments. This is a highly visible role reporting into executive security leadership with the ability to shape the company’s future cybersecurity roadmap.

In this role, you’ll serve as the technical and strategic authority for cybersecurity architecture - guiding enterprise security design, influencing major technology initiatives, and leading a team of cybersecurity engineers responsible for building and operating critical security controls.

You’ll partner closely with IT, infrastructure, cloud, and business leaders to ensure the organization remains resilient, compliant, and ahead of emerging threats.

What You’ll Own:

• Define and drive the enterprise cybersecurity architecture and technical vision across cloud, on-prem, network, systems, and operational technology
• Build and maintain security architecture standards, models, and patterns used across enterprise initiatives
• Lead the development of a long-term cybersecurity strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities and industry best practices
• Evaluate and influence major technology and security initiatives across the organization
• Lead and develop a team of cybersecurity engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and operating security solutions
• Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to assess risk, architecture, and vendor security posture
• Manage strategic relationships with security vendors and service providers, including contract oversight and quarterly business reviews

What We’re Looking For:

• 10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture and engineering
• Proven background leading enterprise-scale security initiatives across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
• Strong technical foundation across network, systems, cloud, and operational technology security
• Experience developing enterprise security roadmaps and architecture frameworks
• Ability to influence executives and translate complex technical concepts into clear business decisions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with frameworks and regulations such as NIST, GDPR, etc.
• Certifications such as GIAC are a plus
