Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Borescope Technician for a wind turbine inspection project based in Hereford, Texas. This role involves performing borescope inspections on GE and Vestas wind turbines, capturing accurate inspection imagery, and completing detailed inspection reports in accordance with project requirements.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the Waygate Everest Flex borescope system and is comfortable working extended hours in demanding field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform borescope inspections on wind turbines according to project standards
- Inspect a total of 15 turbines:
- 10 GE turbines
- 5 Vestas turbines
- Capture high-quality inspection images and documentation
- Complete and upload detailed daily inspection reports
- Maintain organized records and project documentation
- Follow all site safety and compliance requirements
Schedule & Compensation
- Start Date: June 2, 2026
- Approximate Duration: 1 week
- Schedule: 10–12-hour shifts, working daily except Sundays
- Schedule may vary depending on weather conditions
- Overtime paid after 40 hours at time-and-a-half
- Strong possibility of extension and future project opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Current Borescope Certification (certificate required)
- Valid GWO Certification
- Experience using Waygate Everest Flex borescope equipment
- Previous wind turbine borescope inspection experience preferred
- Ability to create detailed inspection reports
- Must provide own laptop for reporting
- Ability to pass: Drug Screen & Background Check
Pay: $30.00 per hour
