Pine Lake Preparatory, a North Carolina top rated public charter school, is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Upper School English Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. The Upper School English Teacher should be motivated, dynamic, organized and have the ability to work in diverse teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design engaging, standards aligned lessons that challenge and inspire students
- Foster a classroom environment built on mutual respect, curiosity, and high expectations
- Use ongoing assessment and data to inform instruction and promote student growth
- Employ a variety of instructional strategies and provide timely, meaningful feedback
- Model professionalism and uphold legal and ethical responsibilities
- Bring English Language Arts to life, helping students connect literature and writing to the world around them
Candidates must hold a B.A./B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field of teaching, and NC Certification in teaching in the appropriate subject area.
