Job Duties:
- Support families at risk of or experiencing homelessness
- Manage high-volume communication via phone, email, and SMS
- Proficiency in learning and using various software programs and databases
- Collect and manage required documentation to ensure timely move-ins and payments
- Conduct home visits and travel regularly year-round throughout the service area
- Strong decision-making skills
- Highly adaptable to schedule changes
- Maintain accurate data entry and compliance with program requirements
- Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma (required)
- Knowledge of homelessness-related issues
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and focus
- Comfort learning and using multiple software systems
- Willingness to travel and conduct home visits
- High adaptability to changing schedules and demands
Certification Requirements (upon hire):
- NSPIRE certification
This position serves a 14-county area and supports families in accessing program services. The office location is Fort Dodge, Iowa. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), year-round position with a non-traditional schedule.
Salary : $19 - $21
