Position Details:
- Guide patients through dental treatment plans, helping them understand procedures, benefits, and next steps.
- Coordinate scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and financial arrangements.
- Serve as the key connection between patients, dental providers, and support staff.
- Monitor treatment plans and follow up with patients to encourage continuity of care.
- Coordinate referrals, maintain patient records, and support efficient clinic operations.
- Assist with direct dental services and community-based programs, including I-Smile at School.
Qualifications:
- Current Iowa Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification or licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Experience in a dental office, treatment coordination, dental assisting, or front office operations preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with patients, providers, and community partners.
- Valid Iowa driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required.
