About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Utility team member to join our Operations department. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining cleanliness and functionality in the kitchen, ensuring that our operations run smoothly. This is an hourly, full-time position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Wash and store dishes, glassware, and other items according to procedures.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling in compliance with safety standards.
- Help with basic food prep tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Ensure all workstations are clean, sanitized, and organized.
- Monitor kitchen tools and alert supervisors about repairs or replacements needed.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to understand and communicate in English.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or related environment is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team setting.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation standards is preferable.
