UPMC Somerset is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Behavioral Health Unit!
This full-time position will work 36 hours per week, variable shifts, based on the needs of the department, and will also include rotating weekend responsibilities.
Experienced Nurses (1 years of experience) are eligible for a $15,000 Sign-on Bonus! (Full-Time status with a 2-year work commitment)

Responsibilities:
- Engage in clinical development and RN residency programs for new hires.
- Learn safe, accountable, and autonomous practices from experienced nurses.
- Use feedback from peers and leaders to improve your practice.
- Show enthusiasm for continuous learning and create a development plan.
- Identify patient and family education needs and provide basic support.
- Join professional nursing organizations and read professional literature.
- Communicate clearly with the healthcare team and support workplace safety.
- Understand research and its impact on practice; participate in journal clubs.
- Apply nursing knowledge to meet patients’ clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
- Demonstrate accountability, make care improvement recommendations, and build healthy relationships with colleagues.
