Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Resource Pool (Weekend Program)

The Clinical Resource Team at UPMC Western Maryland is hiring for their Weekend Program!

As a Professional Staff Nurse working in the Weekend Program with the Clinical Resource Team, you'll receive all the benefits of full-time, while only working weekends! The schedule requires you to work 24 hours, between the hours of Friday at 3 P.M. to Monday at 7 A.M. In addition to receiving a 10% Float Pool differential, another big perk of working in the Weekend Program is the 30% shift differential you'll receive on top of your base rate! Eligible participants must have a minimum of 6 months of nursing experience.

Our Clinical Resource Team is a compilation of healthcare professionals who are trained to work on various inpatient units. If you enjoy variety, joining the CRT will provide the opportunity to care for a diverse population of patients!

Responsibilities:

• Communicates with peers and management any safety hazards identified in the workplace.

• Provides detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to effectively guide them through the episode of care as well as transition to another level of care and/or home.
• Supports the development of students, new staff and colleagues, may serve as a preceptor.
• Creates an environment of open dialogue, inquiry, and continuous development by asking for feedback and improving practice.
• Applies the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment.
• Formulates daily goals and a plan of care for patients that involves the patient as a partner and considers the individual needs of the patient in a holistic manner.
• Patient documentation is comprehensive and promotes communication between caregivers.
