Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities for daily administration of the grants program process and practices of the Foundation.
Helps design and coordinate the Foundations health grantmaking process to UPMC Washington and UPMC Greene and community-based programs which implement its priority areas.
Manage the grants workflow from initial requests, to applications, awards, payment, reporting and closeout with attention to compliance, requirements and the principles of the Foundation.
- Takes primary responsibility for effective management of the Foundant grants database including design, data entry, collection and developing reports.
Fosters positive relationships with grantors and grantees to ensure ongoing collaboration and achievement of community health impacts.
Manages the grant proposal process for Foundations grant seeking activities for both local and national funds, including drafting proposals, gathering data and requested information, and managing the reporting process.
Research program and priority areas, potential funding sources, and background information as needed for the G & O Officer and the Board grants committee.
- Assists the Development Manager and other fundraising staff members where needed, such as event coordination, marketing materials, and more.
Schedule: The selected candidate will have the flexibility to set their work hours within the range of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. While the primary schedule is weekdays, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support special events. Travel may be necessary for meetings, educational programming, or donor engagement activities. This role is primarily in-person, but offers the flexibility to work remotely as well!
