UPMC Susquehanna Medical Group is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our outpatient Family Medicine office in Loyalsock! This is a full-time, daylight position, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts as scheduled between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a rotating Saturday commitment (approximately 7–8 per year, four-hour shifts: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm).

- $5,000.00 | 2-year commitment | New grads or 0–1 year of experience
- $7,500.00 | 2-year commitment | 1 years of experience
Purpose:
Provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.
Responsibilities:
- Draw blood.
- Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health).
- Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
- Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.
- Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
- Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
- Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
