Location: This position will be based out of UPMC Williamsport. This position will have the potential to work from home 1 to 2 days per week. This position will require occasional travel (3%-5% of the time) to UPMC Wellsboro and UPMC Cole.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret Financial Data: Analyze and interpret financial transactions and events to support decision-makers.
- Cost Analysis: Review costs and perform cost-benefit analysis related to various projects and programs.
- Data Extraction: Extract and define relevant financial information to determine past performance and project future probabilities.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform moderately complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis using various financial systems.
- Report Development: Create financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
- Transaction Recording: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in line with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Cost Determination: Collect and study data to determine the costs of business activities, recommending budget adjustments and cost improvement measures.
