As a Clinical Pharmacist in the Critical Care unit, you will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary care team, providing comprehensive medication management during critical interventions such as intubation, sedation, cardiac arrest, stroke, and trauma resuscitations. You’ll work closely with providers and clinical teams to optimize pharmacotherapy, support antimicrobial stewardship, and ensure safe, effective medication use.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care through real-time medication management in emergent and high-complexity clinical scenarios
Facilitate acute interventions including medication procurement, preparation, and therapeutic monitoring
Provide timely drug information and evidence-based recommendations
Participate in critical care-focused research, quality improvement, and practice advancement initiatives
Precept pharmacy students and residents; contribute to ongoing education of clinical staff
