Position Title: Culinary Aide
Location: Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville Hospital Campus
Role & Department: Culinary Aide in the Culinary Services Department
Hours & Shift: Part-time 20 hours per week (.5 FTE) P.M. shift position, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., every other weekend & holiday rotation included.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver food to patients/residents of the Nursing and Rehab Center (NRC)
- Assist patients/residents make meal choices according to their diets
- Stock kitchen & kitchenettes within the facility and rotating goods in the kitchenettes with snacks and nourishments
- Coordinate with nursing staff to meet patient/resident needs
- Basic cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- Assist with dishes and other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- This position requires a lot of walking and the ability to bend and kneel.
- Good computer skills are required
- Basic nutritional knowledge is preferred, but not essential
