Job Description:
Support laboratory and greenhouse research activities for the development and evaluation of new agricultural technologies. Conduct proof-of-concept studies, maintain laboratory operations and plant materials, collect and document experimental data, and assist with equipment and inventory management. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective organization and time management skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and support a variety of research projects.
The successful intern candidate will be a key member of the New Agricultural Technology global team contributing to ongoing research in plant physiology.
The position reports to the Global Research Lead for Physiology.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (sophomore year or above) with relevant work experience, or a Master’s/Ph.D. in Horticulture, Plant Physiology, Soil Science, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn company-specific software and systems.
- Able to work in greenhouse environments and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to follow established safety procedures and operating practices.
- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
- Demonstrates professionalism and the ability to handle confidential company information.
