The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Project Manager to own the execution of our projects from signed contract to completed build. This is a role for an organized, analytical professional who can run multiple projects at once, coordinate the people and materials behind each one, and hold every build to our standard — while keeping the client confident and informed at every step.
Once the sale is made, you are the owner of the project: the single point of accountability for timeline, quality, and client experience through to the final walkthrough.
Position Responsibilities
- Own each project from signed contract through final walkthrough and completion
- Coordinate permits, HOA approvals, and inspections
- Schedule and coordinate installation teams and material deliveries
- Manage project timelines and keep every build on schedule
- Hold all work to Upgryd's construction and quality standards
- Serve as the client's point of contact during the build, keeping them informed and confident at every stage
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep projects moving
- Maintain accurate project status and records in our systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (construction management, engineering, business, or a related field)
- 3 years of project management or construction experience, ideally residential
- Strong working knowledge of residential construction — able to read plans, understand framing and finishes, and recognize quality work
- Highly organized, able to run multiple projects at once without losing track of any
- An analytical problem-solver who stays calm and decisive when issues arise on site
- Polished and professional — you represent the company directly to our clients
- Comfortable managing work through modern project-management and CRM technology
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred
- Experience managing deck, outdoor living, or exterior construction projects
- Experience coordinating subcontractor crews
- Familiarity with permitting and inspection processes in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
