Job Overview
The Chief Business Growth Officer (Americas) will serve as a key member of Upbit’s global executive leadership team, responsible for driving regional business expansion, partnership development, and revenue growth across the Americas.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CBGO will lead the design and execution of business growth strategies, market entry plans, and ecosystem initiatives that align with Upbit’s global vision and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Business Growth Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute Upbit’s business growth and expansion strategy for the Americas, in alignment with global corporate objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and lead new market entry opportunities, strategic partnerships, and alliance development.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and global leadership team on market trends, growth potential, and competitive positioning.
Define KPIs, metrics, and success frameworks to measure business performance, partnership outcomes, and market impact.
Market Expansion & Ecosystem Development
Lead initiatives to drive user acquisition, institutional engagement, and trading volume growth in the Americas.
Oversee partnership development with financial institutions, blockchain networks, regulators, and technology providers.
Support the establishment of local strategic alliances to enhance Upbit’s ecosystem integration and service offerings.
Represent Upbit at major industry conferences, investor meetings, and regulatory discussions to promote brand credibility and thought leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate with product, marketing, compliance, and operations teams to align growth initiatives with business and regulatory objectives.

Qualifications
15–20 years of senior leadership experience in business development, strategy, or growth management within cryptocurrency, fintech, or digital asset sectors.
Proven track record of driving market expansion, partnership creation, and revenue growth in competitive industries.
Strong understanding of blockchain ecosystems, digital assets, and cross-border financial markets.
Exceptional analytical, strategic, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decisions.
