Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for an Insurance Sales Manager. The Insurance Sales Manager will lead and develop a high-performing sales team, set weekly and monthly sales targets, and monitor performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring team members, supporting them with complex quotes, and providing ongoing training on products, systems, and sales best practices. The role involves building and maintaining client relationships, conducting virtual consultations, presenting tailored insurance solutions, and overseeing the sales pipeline and renewal processes. The Insurance Sales Manager will collaborate with leadership on sales strategies, generate reports and forecasts, and ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in insurance sales and team management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills to support and develop a distributed remote sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, virtual meeting platforms, and remote collaboration technologies.
- Ability to analyze sales metrics, develop strategies, and make data-informed decisions.
- Working knowledge of personal and/or commercial insurance products; relevant licenses as required by state or region (or willingness to obtain).
- High level of integrity, customer focus, and commitment to serving diverse communities; multilingual skills are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
