Overview:
We are currently seeking a Harvester to join our team. As a Harvester, you will play a vital role in our agricultural operations, ensuring the successful harvest of crops and maintaining the overall health of our farm.
Duties:
- Harvest crops according to established guidelines and schedules
- Operate equipment and machinery for harvesting purposes
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Use hand tools and manual labor to assist in the harvesting process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Assist other departments when necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check - per State Law.
- Previous experience working on a farm or in a greenhouse is preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating crop quantities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs or more) and physical labor in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with hand tools used in agricultural settings
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members
