Title of the position: Replacement professor. Duties: The functions of a member of the academic staff include, in varying proportions: teaching activities (six courses per year) and academic service activities. The candidate will be expected to teach in both official languages. Terms: A 2-year contract, renewable – new position. Wage: Salary scales for Assistant Professors start at $99,377 (as of May 1, 2025). Additional background in Chemistry and Biomolecular sciences is an asset. Work experience: We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in teaching at the undergraduate level (in chemistry & biomolecular sciences), in both official languages. Research experience in academia and/or industry will be an asset. Experience in supervising undergraduate students will be an asset. The ability of the candidate to teach chemistry & biomolecular sciences at the graduate level will be an asset. The ability of the candidate to participate in at least one of the established research groups will be viewed as an asset. The ability of the candidate to build inclusive courses designed for learning will be an asset.
