Maintenance Technician – Vacation Rentals (Part-Time)

About Us
Unwind Vacation Rentals is a boutique vacation rental management company serving beach condos and homes across Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. We take pride in keeping our properties in top shape so every guest has a great stay — and we're looking for a reliable, handy maintenance technician to help us do it.
About the Role
This is a part-time hourly position with weekend availability required. Hours vary seasonally — busier in the summer peak season, lighter in the off-season. You'll travel between our properties (mostly beach condos) handling a wide range of maintenance tasks, and you'll use Breezeway, our property operations app, to receive, document, and complete work orders.
What You'll Do
- Complete general maintenance and repair tasks across our rental properties
- Painting and touch-up work
- Unclog drains and handle minor plumbing repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances (refrigerators, washers/dryers, dishwashers, etc.)
- Perform HVAC service work (filter changes, basic troubleshooting and service)
- Respond to guest-reported maintenance issues promptly and professionally
- Document all work in Breezeway with notes and photos
- Report larger issues that need a licensed contractor
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of maintenance, handyman, or related experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (travel between properties required)
- Own basic hand tools
- Weekend availability (required)
- Comfortable using a smartphone app (Breezeway) to manage work orders
- Self-starter who works well independently and takes pride in quality work
- Professional and courteous when interacting with guests
