Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial trucks, forklifts, trailers, and other vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
- Repair or replace defective parts such as air brakes, shocks, struts, and brake systems.
- Provide emergency road service as needed to assist customers in distress.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in vehicle technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or automotive repair is essential.
- Strong knowledge of air brake systems and related components.
- Ability to diagnose issues effectively using diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
