ASCENT by Unwind is seeking an exceptional Property Manager / Guest Services Coordinator to help launch and operate a luxury, design-forward micro-resort in Mount Lookout, West Virginia.

Perched above the Meadow River Valley on 44 secluded acres, ASCENT is a luxury glamping destination featuring architecturally distinctive accommodations, dramatic natural views, and an elevated guest experience just minutes from New River Gorge National Park. The resort will feature eight thoughtfully designed one-bedroom accommodations, including mirrored ÖÖD houses, Tubbo-style units, and a European-inspired chalet immersed in nature.

We're looking for a hospitality professional who thrives on creating memorable guest experiences, coordinating operations, solving problems proactively, and representing the highest standards of service.

Position Overview

The Property Manager / Guest Services Coordinator will oversee day-to-day operations and serve as the primary point of contact for guests before, during, and after their stay. Some ability to navigate rugged terrain on foot and via motorized vehicle.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, text, email, and booking platforms
• Coordinate arrivals, departures, and special requests
• Provide local recommendations and concierge-level service
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
• Help maintain and improve guest review scores

Property Operations

• Conduct property inspections and quality checks
• Coordinate cleaning teams and turnover schedules
• Manage maintenance requests and vendor relationships
• Ensure units are guest-ready at all times
• Monitor inventory and restocking of guest supplies

Hospitality & Revenue Support

• Assist with booking management and calendar oversight
• Monitor occupancy trends and guest feedback
• Support implementation of guest experience enhancements
• Help uphold luxury hospitality standards across the property

Team Coordination

• Work closely with ownership and management
• Coordinate contractors, maintenance professionals, and cleaning partners
• Assist with onboarding operational procedures as the resort launches

Qualifications

• Experience managing luxury accommodations
• Housekeeping and maintenance coordination experience

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Expected Compensation Range:

• Guest Services Coordinator/Property Manager: $45,000-$55,000 annually depending on experience and responsibilities
