ASCENT by Unwind is seeking reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Members to join one of the New River Gorge region's newest luxury hospitality destinations.

Located on 44 secluded acres overlooking the Meadow River Valley, ASCENT is a design-forward micro-resort featuring luxury glamping accommodations, breathtaking natural surroundings, and elevated guest experiences just minutes from New River Gorge National Park. The property includes architecturally unique accommodations, including mirrored ÖÖD houses, Tubbo-style suites, and a European-inspired chalet.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy creating beautiful spaces, and understand the impact a perfectly prepared accommodation can have on a guest's stay.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play a critical role in ensuring every guest arrives to a spotless, welcoming, and luxurious environment.

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in:

• Vacation rental cleaning
• Airbnb turnover services
• Hotel housekeeping
• Resort housekeeping
• Residential cleaning
• Hospitality operations

Responsibilities

Guest-Ready Unit Turnovers

• Clean and prepare guest accommodations between stays
• Follow detailed turnover checklists
• Ensure all units meet luxury hospitality standards
• Inspect accommodations for cleanliness, organization, and presentation

Linen & Laundry Management

• Change bed linens and make beds to presentation standards
• Replace towels and guest amenities
• Coordinate laundry services and linen inventory off-site

Property Presentation

• Maintain indoor and outdoor guest areas
• Report maintenance concerns immediately
• Ensure decks, entryways, hot tubs, and gathering spaces are guest-ready
• Immersive experience preparedness in a wooded environment.

Quality Control

• Conduct final walkthroughs before guest arrival
• Photograph completed cleans when requested
• Report damage, missing items, or unusual guest issues
• Follow company cleaning and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to navigate rugged terrain on foot and via motor vehicle
• Ability to work independently
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Airbnb or vacation rental cleaning experience
• Hotel housekeeping experience
• Experience with luxury accommodations
• Weekend availability
• Laundry and linen management experience

Compensation

Starting Pay:

• $18-$25 per hour depending on experience
• Performance bonuses available
• Holiday and peak-season incentives

Schedule

We are currently hiring:

• Seasonal Hospitality Staff

Typical turnover days include:

• Any day of the week depending on booking calendar
• Sundays
• Holidays/Weekends
• Peak tourism seasons
