We are seeking a visionary and experienced Healthy Environments Strategist to join our Research & Innovation (R&I) department. This critical new role will focus on developing and leading our global health strategy, integrating human-centric design and urban development strategies to address global challenges such as urbanization, climate change, and public health.
The Role
As the Healthy Environments Strategist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive global health strategy. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams across our global network to drive innovation and align health-focused strategies with UNS’ design excellence and sustainability goals. This role requires a forward-thinking approach to health-focused design, leadership skills to inspire teams, and the ability to measure and track the impact of health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive global health strategy aligned with UNS’ growth objectives and industry best practices.
Position UNS as a leader in health-focused design by integrating health metrics into design processes across all UNS branches.
Framework Development
Create evidence-based frameworks to assess the urban and societal impact of UNS projects, improving environmental quality and promoting long-term sustainability.
Develop tools and methodologies to measure the impact of health-focused design on physical, mental, and social well-being.
Leverage data-driven insights to refine design strategies and improve project outcomes.
Consultancy and Client Engagement
Help develop health-related consultancy services.
Collaborate with internal teams and studios to align project goals with health, environmental, and wellness objectives.
Team Leadership
Collaborate with multidisciplinary UNS teams, providing mentorship and training.
Work closely with other thought leaders to ensure cross-disciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to: Head of R&I and GMT
Education and Experience
Degree in a relevant subject.
At least 10-years work experience and 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within architecture, engineering, project management or construction.
