We are seeking a Senior IT Business Engagement Manager – Financial Systems to serve as the strategic technology partner between business operations and enterprise technology, accountable for aligning IT services, enterprise platforms, and technology investments (SAP S/4HANA and financial systems) to the end-to-end value chain, with ownership across Lead-to-Cash (L2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) value streams.
This role owns end-to-end service performance, governance, and roadmap alignment for Finance capabilities, coordinating across internal IT, Application Managed Services (AMS) partners, and Managed Service Providers (MSP) to ensure operational stability (Run-the-Business) while advancing financial transformation (Change-the-Business).
This role requires enterprise-level judgment, cross-domain leadership, and the ability to influence technology direction.
This is a high-impact, upwardly mobile role designed to progress to Director of Business Systems within ~24 months based on performance and business need.

Job Responsibilities
- Business Engagement & Finance Partnership
- Serve as the primary IT executive partner for Finance leadership.
- Own the technology relationship for Finance capabilities, including ownership of L2C, P2P, and R2R processes in a manufacturing apparel environment.
- Leadership across SAP S/4HANA-enabled financial systems and integration across PLM, commerce, and supply chain platforms.
- Lead monthly and quarterly governance forums with Finance stakeholders to review service performance, enhancement priorities, risks, and roadmap alignment.
- Translate Finance strategy and regulatory requirements into prioritized IT demand, ensuring clarity of scope, business value, and sequencing.
- Ensure data, reporting, and analytics enablement to support business operations.
- Run-the-Business (RTB): Financial Systems Stability & Governance
- Own RTB service performance for enterprise Finance platforms.
- Govern offshore and vendor delivery - ensure adherence to change control, release management, and audit readiness standards.
- Oversee incident trend analysis and root-cause remediation, reducing recurring issues and manual workarounds.
- Ensure continuity and uptime across ERP, financial reporting, and integration layers that support Finance operations.
- Change-the-Business (CTB): Finance Transformation & Roadmap Ownership
- Shape and own the Finance technology roadmap, leveraging SAP S/4HANA and finance system capabilities.
- Review and prioritize Finance enhancement business cases, balancing ROI, risk, and compliance impact.
- Sponsor initiatives focused on:
- Financial process automation
- ERP optimization or modernization
- Finance analytics, KPIs, and executive reporting
- Integration improvements across L2C, P2P, and R2R.
- Ensure change management, training, and adoption support Finance users through transformation initiatives.
- IT Delivery Model & Process Improvement
- Define, document, and continuously improve processes within the IT Service Delivery Model, including:
- Demand intake and prioritization
- Incident, problem, and escalation workflows
- Enhancement intake, approval, and release cycles
- Change management and financial system governance.
- Ensure delivery processes are repeatable and consistently executed across internal IT, AMS, and MSP teams.
- Operationalize documented processes through:
- Help Desk and ticketing workflows
- Vendor execution models
- Governance forums and operating cadence.
- Drive ongoing process optimization to improve predictability, cycle time, quality, and control, particularly during period-end close and audit windows.

Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in IT business engagement, enterprise applications, and/or Finance systems leadership and ERP environments.
- Deep experience in L2C, P2P, and R2R.
- Demonstrated leadership of AMS and MSP delivery models, including SLA governance and executive escalation.
- Strong experience supporting Finance environments (SAP S/4HANA) highly preferred.
- Manufacturing and apparel experience preferred.
- Enterprise leadership potential.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at the intersection of business strategy, technology delivery, and financial governance.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application landscapes, including ERP-centric and integrated platform ecosystems.
- Capability to balance near-term operational stability with long-term modernization and scalability objectives.
- Experience influencing technology roadmaps, prioritization, and investment decisions.
