Job Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain the audit schedule; perform and complete audits within 3 days; Rearranging schedule as needed for unexpected priority shipments.
- Perform audits and review results to make decisions on borderline quality issues.
- Works with Sourcing and Design to resolve audit issues; communicates findings.
- Perform audits and review results with Quality Supervisor.
- Performs 100% inspections; enters results into system and notifies appropriate teams of results.
- Determines styles to be audited; Monitors issue styles: Keeps track of new styles and colors then audit if needed.
- Documents audit results into our system.
- Keeps files up to date; replaces and obtains new standards from Design.
- Communicates daily with Inventory Control team.
- Works with the Quality Assurance Coordinator to resolve audit issues, communicate findings and provide information on charge backs.
- Maintains a tidy and neat audit site.
- Research/Investigate inventory for quality issues.
- Ensure corrective actions are taken on nonconforming products.
- Review and approve top of production (TOP) garments.
- Supporting receipt of vas materials from Pharr.
- Oversight of any rework processes that are being completed. Both of finished goods as well as packaging, labels, cases, etc.
- Routing liaison for retail services.
- Inspections and verification of any returned product
- Experience and knowledge of audits and inspections, preferred
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Oracle is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to follow technical specifications and measure garments for conformance
- Must be able to recognize nonconformance to approved samples, as related to construction, appearance and color.
