Serves as the primary technical resource for implementing and maintaining applications. Provides technical leadership on implementation and operational support activities. May supervise or provide functional direction to assigned staff and/or student employees.
The current grant for Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) focuses on advancing technology to assess satellite signal quality and manage sophisticated signals. This initiative also includes the development of countermeasures, the implementation of threat detection algorithms, and the creation of a versatile tool set compatible with satellite hardware. Signals analysis is important for software development of systems to support the research.
Primary responsibilities will include providing engineering technical support for spaceflight research missions. His extensive experience in software development, testing, and data analysis across various languages and communication applications will be pivotal to his role at COSMIAC. Furthermore, his past experience working at COSMIAC have provided him with background experience to reduce time bringing him up to speed on programs.
