Certified Nurse Midwives: Open Rank Lecturer of Obstetrics and Gynecology

The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine and Health Sciences Center is seeking a full scope nurse-midwife that will contribute actively to the climate of diversity and inclusivity. We invite applications for an Open Rank position in Midwifery. UNM Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Midwifery Division has a busy clinical practice and is active in education.

We are a large midwifery group practice that provides full scope midwifery care within the University of New Mexico Health System. We are group of diverse and dedicated midwives who are passionate about patient care, advocacy, health system improvement, and education of the next generation of clinicians. This is a full time clinical position within an academic system which includes clinical teaching of a variety of learners but is not a didactic teaching position. Our role as faculty within the School of Medicine provides many opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration & professional growth based on your interests. New Mexico offers autonomous midwifery practice, beautiful high desert outdoor adventures, and sunny weather almost every day.
