Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests for assistance, via phone or electronically
- Diagnose and resolve payment issues using available information and resources
- Advise customers on appropriate action by following standard help desk procedures
- Maintain log of all help desk interactions to include issues and resolutions
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention to the Help Desk Supervisor
- Prepare spreadsheets detailing activity on an account
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- A minimum of one year of accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred
- A minimum of one year experience in a help desk environment a plus
- Knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes a plus
- Must have an excellent eye for detail; must have the ability to spot issues quickly and be able to resolve in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and time management skills; must be able to multitask
- Able to problem solve and handle a variety of issues
- Must be self motivated and able to follow direction and able to work independently or as a team
- Proficient with MS Office software and knowledge of an A/P imaging system preferred
