Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead daily field operations on commercial and multifamily projects throughout the Round Rock and greater Central Texas area. This role is hands-on and field-focused. The Superintendent is responsible for controlling the jobsite, coordinating subcontractors and self-perform crews, enforcing safety, maintaining schedule, and ensuring all work is executed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and company standards.
This position requires a leader who can plan ahead, solve problems in real time, and hold the line on quality and safety. You will be the point person on site and expected to run clean, organized, and disciplined projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily on-site construction activities and sequencing
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and company crews
- Maintain and enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance
- Track schedule progress and proactively address delays or conflicts
- Review plans and specifications to ensure work is built correctly
- Maintain quality control and punchlist management
- Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and manpower planning
- Communicate clearly with project management and ownership
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent or similar role
Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods
Solid knowledge of safety practices and jobsite enforcement
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple trades and priorities simultaneously
Clear communicator who leads with authority and respect
Multifamily construction experience preferred
High school diploma required; additional construction certifications are a plus
