Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth shift operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to build a motivated and knowledgeable team
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities
- Oversee point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Implement merchandising plans and marketing initiatives to promote products and increase store traffic
- Conduct employee orientation sessions, ongoing training & development programs, and performance evaluations
- Maintain organizational standards for cleanliness, safety, and store presentation while managing budgets and retail math calculations
- Utilize strong communication skills to foster teamwork, resolve customer concerns promptly, and ensure effective store operations
- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, scheduling shifts, and inventory reports
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail sales or store management with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (POS), purchasing procedures, and retail math principles
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication abilities in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in training & development, team management, and employee supervision
- Familiarity with retail marketing strategies, merchandising techniques, and pricing strategies
- Ability to handle cash handling accurately while adhering to company policies on cashiering and financial controls
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and managing payroll processes
- Knowledge of wireless sales or related product categories is a plus but not required
- A passion for cycling or outdoor recreation is highly desirable
