About Us
Unleashed Dog Camp is a kennel-free dog daycare and boarding facility located on 25 acres of fenced fields. We specialize in providing a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for the dogs in our care.
We’re looking for a Lead Dog Handler to join our team! This role is perfect for someone with strong dog-handling experience who thrives in a leadership role. As a Lead Handler, you’ll guide and support other handlers, ensure safe play and enrichment, and help maintain the high standards of care that our dogs (and their people!) deserve.

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage play groups of up to 15 dogs
- Provide leadership and support to dog handlers.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in your care.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Assist with feeding, cleaning, and general care duties as needed.
- Monitor dog behavior and step in proactively to redirect or manage interactions .
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of professional dog handling experience (daycare, boarding, training, rescue, or similar).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Ability to manage groups of dogs safely and confidently without using fear, pain or punishment to manage behavior.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Physically able to handle active, outdoor work in all weather conditions. This includes walking outdoors on uneven ground for up to two hours at a time and lifting up to 40 pounds as needed.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time and full-time shifts available Must be able to work some evenings and at least one weekend day. Our hours are 7am to 7pm 7 days a week.
- Pay: $19 – $21/hour for regular shifts, $22 - $25/hour for filling in for our van drivers or covering a last minute open shift.
