Manager

We are seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and motivated Cannabis Dispensary Manager to lead daily operations at our licensed dispensary. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail or regulated industries, demonstrates leadership excellence, and has a deep understanding of cannabis laws and products.

• As the face of the dispensary, the manager ensures compliance, drives sales performance, maintains inventory accuracy, and fosters a customer-first culture.
• Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily dispensary operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow

• Maintain full compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations

• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise dispensary staff

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members

• Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee documentation (including use of METRC or other seed-to-sale systems)

• Ensure cash handling procedures and bank deposits are performed correctly

• Manage inventory ordering, receiving, stocking, and auditing

• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues professionally

• Coordinate with marketing teams for in-store promotions and product launches

• Conduct regular team meetings, training, and compliance briefings

• Create and implement SOPs for sales, safety, and compliance

• Work with security and compliance staff to ensure a safe and legal environment

• Prepare and submit reports to ownership or corporate as required

Requirements:

• 3 years of retail management experience (cannabis industry preferred)

• Strong knowledge of cannabis strains, products, regulations, and trends

• Experience working with cannabis POS and inventory systems (e.g., BioTrack, Flowhub, Dutchie, Leaflogix)

• Familiarity with state compliance systems (e.g., METRC)

• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Must pass all required background checks and possess valid cannabis worker credentials (if applicable by state)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience managing a licensed cannabis retail operation

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field

• Valid state-issued cannabis handler or agent card

• CPR/First Aid or security training certifications (if required by your jurisdiction)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
