Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist nursing staff with daily patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide support during medical procedures and examinations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Help with the transportation of patients within the facility as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient interactions and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Level II trauma center or Level I trauma center is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and inpatient care practices.
- Experience in pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), operating room (OR), geriatrics, medical-surgical units, or outpatient clinic settings is highly valued.
- Knowledge of post-acute care and sub-acute care practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
