What is it like as a Senior IT Engineer at Univision? Senior Engineers work both independently and collaboratively on tasks and projects encompassing the complex IT needs of our managed clients. This role requires a high-level understanding of advanced technical and networking concepts, as well as the ability to translate those concepts into understandable terms for lower-level technicians and customers alike. Our success is built on teamwork and providing exceptional customer service.
While we have a detailed onboarding process to help you learn our specific environments, we expect Senior Engineers to hit the ground running. You will quickly take on advanced problem-solving, lead complex deployments, and act as a technical mentor to the rest of the team.
NOTE: We are currently looking for applicants who can work in an in office environment in the Liberty Lake area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary escalation point for lower-level technicians, providing mentorship, guidance, and assistance as needed.
- Perform high-level diagnostics, service, and issue resolution for complex network and infrastructure systems.
- Determine the best technical solutions based on presented issues and customer details.
- Effectively guide customers through the problem-solving process while delivering excellent customer service and accurate information on supported IT products/services.
- Proactively identify solutions for customers' current and future needs, resolving issues before they become operational problems.
- Take initiative to solve diverse problems, self-drive tasks, and see complex projects through to successful completion.
- Engage actively in Univision's knowledge-sharing programs to teach others and continuously learn.
- Identify and recommend improvements to internal procedures and tech stacks.
- Maintain a high level of communication and coordination internally, with vendors, and with clients.
- Travel to perform on-site visits to client locations as needed.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned under the direction of IT Management.
Qualifications, Certifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3 years of Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience required.
- Environment Expertise: Proven experience supporting SMB/SME environments typical of MSPs.
- Networking & Hardware: Experience with complex network solutions/deployments, network hardware setup/staging, and advanced hardware maintenance on servers and workstations.
- Software & Cloud: Strong experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, Cloud-based Azure environments, and macOS.
- Tools: Experience working with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) solutions and centrally managed device consoles.
- Security & Backup: Experience with security suites (anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-ransomware) and backup suites for both on-premises and off-premises file/image-based solutions.
- Communications: Experience with remote conferencing software (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.); eFax and VoIP experience preferred.
- Compliance: CMMC and/or related compliance experience is highly desired.
- Education: Formal IT Training (College degree, industry certifications, etc.) is highly desirable but not strictly required.
- Logistics: Valid Driver's License and the ability to conduct on-site visits (spanning hours to days) with occasional travel.
- Soft Skills: Highly organized, professional, and dedicated to excellent customer service.

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
