Please note that this position will become hybrid after the initial training period of up to 6 months.
Responsibilities
Utilize agency management system and carrier websites to process new business, renewals, billings and endorsements
Working knowledge of Word and Excel
Follow established agency policy and standard operating procedures
Provide front line service for book of business assigned to you by anticipating and responding to customer needs in a timely and professional manner
Analyze policy coverage, rates as required, and make changes as appropriate
Act as liaison, communicate and negotiate with company underwriters
Maintain and nurture good customer and company relations
Communicate and interact with client by phone, in person or in writing
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Perform Additional Duties As Required
Qualifications
Current PA State Property and Casualty insurance producer license and previous agency or company experience
Thorough knowledge of basic lines of insurance coverage and products
Familiarity with the Commercial Lines Manual and specific coverage forms
Understand rate making and proven ability to operate company specific rating software
Professional appearance, strong interpersonal and communication skills, positive and professional attitude
Wage Range
The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $65,000
