The 9-12 Summer High School Credit Recovery program is seeking restorative practitioners for the morning portion of the summer school day. As a Summer School Restorative Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of empathy, respect, and accountability among students. You will implement restorative practices to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and create a safe and welcoming environment where students can thrive academically and socially.
Your responsibilities will include facilitating restorative circles, conducting individual and group interventions, and supporting students in developing conflict resolution skills. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs holistically and promote a sense of belonging and connection within the school community.

Qualifications:
Role Responsibilities:
- Utilizes effective restorative justice practices responding to the needs of each student and staff member in the school community.
- Ensures a safe, supportive, and productive environment for students and staff.
- Sets and maintains high character expectations for students and staff.
- Implements effective conflict resolution and helpful student support services.
- Promotes teamwork within the school community.
- Demonstrates cultural competencies in being part of a multi-cultural institution.
- Incorporates school-wide expectations into all work projects and interactions with members of the school community.
- Actively engages parents in the restorative justice process as needed.
- Implements classroom procedures that promote a safe, clean, orderly, and productive classroom environment.
- Support dismissal for all students.
- All other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
- Stipend: $4,625 (paid in two installments July 15 and July 31)
- Attendance Bonus: $1,000
- Potential Total Compensation: $5,625
Schedule:
- Dates: June 22 - July 22 (July 2-3 are days off)
- Work Hours: Monday -Friday 8:30a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- *Employees must be in attendance for every day of the summer program.
